Growing up, I never really fit in with my American friends, and I never fully fit in with my Colombian and Latino friends. I’ve always existed somewhere in between, naturally blending both cultures because I genuinely loved them. Being raised in an artsy family helped me merge those influences into my work. That’s why, in my photography, you’ll see that I love color, but I also love light. My family’s home country of Colombia is known for its flowers, vast green valleys, and beautiful mountain landscapes. My home in the South is filled with vibrant sunsets, wide fields of green wildflowers, and rich seasonal color in the fall. When I take photos, it’s important to me that I capture you—not just how you look, but your energy, your personality, and your truest self. I don’t want to leave you out of the images; I want the art we create together to feel like home every time you look at your photographs.
